Hello Neighbors,
As your City Council Representative I have a couple of updates to share with you about what’s happening in our city:
Main Street Improvements
City Council recently agreed on the funding mechanism that will allow long-awaited work to begin on the four main blocks of our Main Street. Construction is expected to kick off in about a year. The project will include important infrastructure upgrades along with improvements that make Main Street even more enjoyable for everyone who spends time there. This is an exciting investment in one of the true gems of our community.
Upcoming Election
Looking ahead to November 4th, four City Council seats will be up for election. I encourage everyone to take a little time to learn about the candidates, as well as an important citizen-led ballot measure that could significantly shape how our city operates in the years ahead. Every vote counts, whether you participate by mail or in person.
Finally, we want you to know how much we value hearing from residents. Your questions, concerns, and ideas really do make a difference. Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts during public comment at Council meetings on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm at the City Center (2255 West Berry Ave) or reach out by email anytime (apeters@LittletonCO.gov). Staying connected helps us all work together to keep Littleton a great place to live.
Warmly,
Andrea Peters
Council Member District IV
