Dear TrailMark Residents,
A few neighbors have been asking the Board to remind fellow neighbors about rattlesnake sightings during the fall months. August to October are the most frequent months for rattlesnakes to be born. Rattlesnakes are very visible and active this time of year.
Several residents have seen rattlesnakes basking in the sun on the South Suburban trails here in TrailMark. Our Board just wanted to send everyone a friendly reminder to please be aware of your surroundings while using the trails to walk your dog or exercise. None of us want to see anyone get bit by a rattlesnake, so please be careful outside this fall.
Here are two additional articles to help educate you and your family about Colorado rattlesnakes:

- https://www.denver7.com/news/local-news/in-your-community/aurora-arapahoe-county/rattlesnake-bites-are-on-the-rise-in-colorado-heres-what-to-do-if-youre-bitten
Being vigilant on the trails. Staying away from tall grassy areas will help keep you and your pets safe from unwanted rattlesnake bites. We hope this information helps.
Thank you,
