    In preparation for a forecasted high wind event, Xcel Energy has announced Public Safety Power Shutoffs are likely in parts of the Denver metro area on Wednesday, December 17 to reduce wildfire risks. As of the afternoon of Tuesday, December 16, the City of Littleton, including the TrailMark neighborhood, is NOT within the potential shutoff area.   • Stage 2 Fire Ban in effect, from City of Littleton’s Facebook page
    Due to ongoing dry conditions and elevated fire danger, the City of Littleton has issued a Stage 2 fire ban, effective immediately. Stage 2 ban means no open burning, including in fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, or wood-fueled smokers. No fireworks are permitted. Allowed activities include the use of gas-fueled stoves and grills, charcoal grills, gas-fueled fire pits, electric smokers, indoor fireplaces, and indoor wood burning stoves.
